It’s June 1st! We’re halfway through 2015 and I’ve accomplished nothing! Or at least that’s how it’s feeling. These are a few things I doodled between paying projects. Sort of as warm-ups and sort of as experiments (I’m trying to get coloured pencil blending down since it’s been many years since I’ve using pencil crayons). […]

Rough Stuff
It’s been a while since I’ve posted anything here. Um, this is just some rough prep work for something I plan on colouring. I’m not very good with watercolours so I tend t practice what I’m planning so I don’t screw it up horribly on the final piece. Watercolours on 50lb watercolour paper.
Colonel
Just a quick doodle done on my phone. I was watching The Last Samurai, and this is the first time doing facial hair without an actual reference. Sketchbook for Android.
Moleskine 1
I don’t know about you, but I like to decorate my sketchbooks. Especially since I can never find ones with nice designs on them. I recently purchased a few moleskines, the 120 page cahier in Extra Large, I bought the packs of 3 in black, and in a brown manila colour. So in total, I […]
Deer Skull
As you can see, my skills for creating titles are ah-ma-zing. *Sarcasm* This one took over a year to finish. I wasn’t working on this on and off for a year, I started it, did 8-12 hours of work on it, then left it there sitting on my hard drive until exactly a year later. […]
Orchids
Something a little more recent. Started off as a mindless doodle. Done back in January of 2012. I actually made this into a purchaseable print on my Society6 page. Go check it out and maybe buy a print here. There’s also a skin for your iphone ;). Paint Tool Sai, with Adobe Illustrator for […]
WIP – Skeleton Knight
This is something I started on a whim. Drawing armor tends to be much more complicated than I had imagined. Drawing armor is proving to be a fairly tough challenge for me, so this may sit in the unfinished pile for some time. At least until I can create the armor in a […]
Victorian Budgies
I have 4 budgies, usually during the day they are free to fly about the living room in joyous harmony. They have a number of perches to sit on, the fig tree in the corner (eaten alive), the branch installed in front of the back door so they can watch birdies outside, and everywhere else, […]
Off to Africa
So a friend of mine from work was planning a massive trip to Africa, one that will span quite a few months. We had a small work party to send her off, including gluten-free cake (made by another awesome co-worker), plenty of warnings and a little journal for when she’s travelling. We all signed pages […]
A purple rose with the years of her families’ births in the fallen petals. Done in 2011.
