Haven’t done any drawing in a while. This image was floating around in my head the past few days, and it was nice to take it back to the good old days of drawings don solely in ballpoint pen. I feel like this has been done before, not by me, but I feel like I’ve […]

Steps
More gouache painting, this time of some overgrown stone steps. I like the feel of this one, feels bright and fresh with all those happy greens. Also it was a good experiment with painting rocks (I have a hard time drawing, let alone painting rocks.) Gouache
Flower Door 2
Here we go, another! With a cameo of my thumb. Again, I was very lazy with the door, because my focus was the flowers. Depending on how long this quarantine lasts, I might end up filling this sketchbook with these little paintings. Gouache
Flower Door 1
Another! And I’m sure you can tell by how poorly done the door is, I wasn’t into it. I really only wanted to paint the leaves and flowers. Gouache
Read
I used to be, once upon a time, and avid and voracious reader. Although these past few years, I find that I can barely make it past a few chapters. I’ve got five or so books started but left untouched and it’s quite sad. Pen, Pencil, White Gel Pen.
The prompt today is “Teeth”, so have some dentures. I feel like I made these look nice and creepy, but I could have upped the creep factor if it had just been a glass overflowing with loose pulled teeth. Very happy with this though. Ink, Water, White Gel Pen.
Inktober Day 25
The prompt today is “Seance”. Ink, Water, White ink, Gold Gel Pen.
Gorgon Girl
Saw Toni-Renea‘s Draw This In Your Style challenge and fell in love with her cute gorgon girl, so I drew my own version instead of an Inktober. I’ve been feeling kind of uninspired by the prompts lately, so it was pretty nice finding something that did make me want to draw. Go see her wonderful […]
Day 20: Seasons, I was going to paint some cool sunflowers for Summer/Fall, but when that didn’t pan out I switched over to the season most people get excited for. The snowy trees were the most difficult to do, but they turned out well, I also really like the cabin. Ink, White Ink, Water.
Yellow Dress
Didn’t feel like doing an Inktober today, wanted to draw something colourful and bright. Eehh, that background is not the greatest, but after messing with it for a while, I’m willing to accept it won’t turn out quite how I want is as it was unplanned. Markers, Ink, White Gel Pen.
