Day 20: Seasons, I was going to paint some cool sunflowers for Summer/Fall, but when that didn’t pan out I switched over to the season most people get excited for. The snowy trees were the most difficult to do, but they turned out well, I also really like the cabin.
Pumpkin: almost was unsuccessful with this one, I start 2 others only to abandon them, and return to this guy. Pretty pleased with how he turned out, tried to make him look “lit-from-within” and I think I achieved that. I’m also surprised I knocked this out since we’re still Marie Kondo-ing our kitchen. And I ran out of ink… So I had to use multiliners for this.
If you’re like me, a.k.a. a chronic loner, and you’re spending it alone with your cat (speaking of which, I need 5 more), I hope you have a good day. Maybe go get some of that candy/chocolate, or maybe don’t.
For those of you spending it with someone, enjoy your time with them and turn off your phone.
Kuretake Brush Pens, White ink, White Gel Pen, Pigment Liners.
My apologies for the blurry photo, and for forgetting to post this here.
This one was for C, who’s an amazing person, and always gets the most difficult card to make.
I struggled with so many different ways to make the “Season’s greetings” writing, only to settle on 3D glue with black holo glitter dusted onto it. The Northern Lights were difficult to paint (since I’m bad at landscapes), and the trees were so darn stabby.
