Started a new sketchbook (back in July) and finally figured out what I wanted to do on the cover. The trees and sky came out beautifully, but you can see where I gave up, on the road. But that’s okay, because this is just a sketchbook and this was just for fun. Gouache Paint

Steps
More gouache painting, this time of some overgrown stone steps. I like the feel of this one, feels bright and fresh with all those happy greens. Also it was a good experiment with painting rocks (I have a hard time drawing, let alone painting rocks.) Gouache
Flower Door 2
Here we go, another! With a cameo of my thumb. Again, I was very lazy with the door, because my focus was the flowers. Depending on how long this quarantine lasts, I might end up filling this sketchbook with these little paintings. Gouache
Flower Door 1
Another! And I’m sure you can tell by how poorly done the door is, I wasn’t into it. I really only wanted to paint the leaves and flowers. Gouache
Cabin
Small painting in one of my sketchbooks, I had an overwhelming urge to work with paint, so I broke out a set of gouache. I did do a few test drawings of other things to get a feel for gouache before I did this, but I really like this one, probably because of all the […]
Day 20: Seasons, I was going to paint some cool sunflowers for Summer/Fall, but when that didn’t pan out I switched over to the season most people get excited for. The snowy trees were the most difficult to do, but they turned out well, I also really like the cabin. Ink, White Ink, Water.
Yellow Dress
Didn’t feel like doing an Inktober today, wanted to draw something colourful and bright. Eehh, that background is not the greatest, but after messing with it for a while, I’m willing to accept it won’t turn out quite how I want is as it was unplanned. Markers, Ink, White Gel Pen.
Inktober Day 7
Day 7’s prompt was “Poison” so I chose oleander, since it’s a poisonous plant, with pretty flowers, and I like drawing flowers. Ink, Water.
Spring Dress
A little break from the Christmas cards, as the last two still have to be flung at their intended victims. The weather has been eerily warm here in Ontario the past week, so it had me thinking of pretty soft pastels and florals. Copics, White Gel Pen, Multiliner, Washi Tape
Into the Wild
Attempted one of those adventure things, it was supposed to be darker and spookier, but my love of bright, vibrant colours betrayed me. Kuretake Brush Pens, Pentel Sign Pen, 0.3 mm Pigment Liner
