Some 1830s inspired stuff, Ive been watching Gentleman Jack, and while I began with hating the mutton sleeves and ridiculous looking top nots, they’re growing on me. I do envy the necklines and fluffy-ness of the dresses though.
Please excuse the angle I took the photo.
Black and Red pencils.
Don’t mind me, just drawing cute outfits.
Copic Markers, Ballpoint Pen, Posca Markers, White Gel Pen.
More washi tape adventures, this time a very monochromatic palette of blush tones and pinks, with a pop of blue.
Believe it or not, the sneakers were the hardest things to draw. I can draw high heels, platforms and other unreasonable shoes with ease, but sneakers.. that requires multiple reference photos and multiple rough sketches.
Copic Markers, Kuretake Brush Pens, White Gel Pen, Pigment Liner, Washi Tape.
Scroll past the break for some of the rough work for this one.

Been really into shorter hair lately, but I’m not cutting mine, I’m still trying to convince it to grow.

Managed to make something I’m happy with. This has been a final product of the many tools I’ve been playing with. The jacket is washi tape, all the colours are a mix of Copic Markers and Kuretake Markers, and the line work is all done with a ballpoint pen, and I could not be happier.
By the way it looks warped, because I took a photo of it on an angle, and her head looks even smaller because of it, but I’m still very pleased.

I’m not the greatest at drawing expressive faces, but I think hers is saying “Piss Off” to someone. Which kind of embodies the mood I’ve been dealing with for a couple of months now (mostly caused by the dumpster fire I work at).
I just haven’t been creating because of it, and it’s making me upset because I can’t create. Also unless my efforts to create change for myself work, I likely won’t be contributing much to Inktober this year which makes me quite sad.

I’ve been out with a repetitive stress injury in my neck/shoulder, so I haven’t been drawing anything, which has also led me into an artistic funk, and quite honestly uninterested in much.
However, since the injury seems to be healing a bit, I managed to crank this out. Mind you, this is one of about 20 sketches, none of those turned out where I was happy with them, but this is the best so I’m sharing.
