I’m still playing around with this kind of drawing, the slapping down of colour to create the form then going in after to add details. I’m really enjoying it so far, as I feel I can be messier in my initial approach, and it still comes out nice.
I’m especially fond of how her nose came out. I almost always seem to get the same looking nose, but this time it looks distinctive!

Watched How to Marry a Millionaire again today, with my mum. I always loved the glasses Pola (Marilyn Monroe) wore in the movie. Oddly enough the bath robe? she wears is also one of my favourites.

So I’m sure you’ve all noticed by now that I schedule posts. It’s easier for me and I don’t have to worry about my blog becoming a postless void when I’m not drawing or forget to upload photos (especially since I hate WordPress’s app).
So this lady here is the first actual drawing I’ve done in 2017, January 1st no less.
I’m just praying this year isn’t a shitshow like last year was and that I’ll find some new employment.
