Not art related, but I bought some exciting fabrics lately, the most exciting being that fun pineapple print. Most of these will be going on to become shirts, but that pink is going to become a skirt. And I also wanted to dye the flamingo printed one with some pink, because I can’t possibly have dull white coloured flamingos.
Anyways, I do have some drawings I’m working on as well, so I will be posting my more normal stuff soon.
Simple doodle, in the sketchbook who’s paper I hate.
Sketches in my sketchbook. She looks a lot like Emilia Clarke (Daenerys) despite me using no reference. Guess I’ve got Game of Thrones on the mind. Her nose came out really well.
Orange and Black Col-Erase pencils.
Candy, with Halloween colours.
Kuretake Brush pens, Ink.
Just a fantail goldfish. Used a reference very loosely.
0.5 mm Back Ballpoint, Pigment Liner (various sizes).
Lots of eyes, and eyelashes. Has it become obvious how much I love drawing eye makeup? Hahah. Also you can see some of my hideous fails in the top sketches.
The top sketch looks sooo unimpressed.
Also I apologize, I seem to have photographed Baby Doll (bottom right) on an angle and now she’s severely askew.
So top sketches were done with the Carbon pen (or a pigment liner, I can’t remember) and pencils; bottom left done in purple Col-Erase pencil, and bottom right in a 1.0 mm Black Ballpoint pen.
I think this would make an interesting tattoo. Anyway, tried my hand at drawing the moon.
Also, Happy Canada Day! to my fellow Canucks!
