I was in Toronto recently with a friend going to see another friend and along the way to the pub we saw this little kid holding some drink housed in a pineapple. Mind you, I’m sure his was non-alcoholic but I was jealous nonetheless. Anyway, here’s something I’ve been working on in bits and pieces […]

Girl Gang
So between myself and one of my closest friends, we came up with this as our girl gang insignia. Cat skulls and flowers. Pencil crayons, black ink, white gel pen.
Just a fantail goldfish. Used a reference very loosely. 0.5 mm Back Ballpoint, Pigment Liner (various sizes).
Absinthe
More drawings of booze. This one looks much nicer than the one I did a few years back. Part of the “Stuff I do during breaks from paying work” collection. Watercolour, Ink.
Perfume
More stuff done during my breaks! I love atomizers, especially the vintage ones! They’re just so beautiful, and let’s be honest some of those perfume bottles are designed so beautifully. It’s too bad I’m allergic to most commercial perfumes/fragrances. Watercolor, ink, Kuretake Brush Pens.
Ice Cream
I’ve been very busy as of late, working on a large commission. This drippy ice cream was created during a break from the other work. Maybe I should open up an Etsy shop and sell either prints of this or maybe the original? Pigment Liners, Kuretake Brush Pens, Watercolors.
Bugs and Fluttery Creatures
It’s June 1st! We’re halfway through 2015 and I’ve accomplished nothing! Or at least that’s how it’s feeling. These are a few things I doodled between paying projects. Sort of as warm-ups and sort of as experiments (I’m trying to get coloured pencil blending down since it’s been many years since I’ve using pencil crayons). […]
Sock Garters
I’ve been burnt out from work (not having had any form of a vacation in almost 4 years will do that). After watching the trailer for Laika’s “The Box Trolls” I started thinking of knobby knees and sock garters. I am the only one who thinks sock garters are glorious things? Probably. Have a Happy […]
Jessica Rabbit
I did it! A finished version of that doodle from a while back. And I didn’t muck it up (unless you count the fact that I dropped a chunk of avocado on it). Now I just need to dig out my proper camera to get a good quality photo of it. I think I’ll have […]
I’m really enjoying drawing these little mermaid ladies. I liked this one so much, I chose to colour her in. I added some glitter to her tail to make the scales look wet. Kuretake Brush Pens, 0.3 mm Pigment liner, glitter, glue, water.
