Summer is coming. And with that, drawings of cool, refreshing drinks. Cherry cola is one of my favourite beverages; it’s the only thing with caffeine in it that I’m willing to drink. This is another of those “what can I paint well using watercolours” piece. I like it quite a lot. I’ll try and […]

Bows
Late night doodles. 0.5mm black and red pens, 0.5mm pencil.
Test 3
Another test run on skintones, I like her hairstyle, kind of a Farrah Fawcett vibe. Watercolours, and pens.
Testing how to paint skintones in watercolour. I like the lady on the right’s flesh tones, although I need to learn to stay in the lines. The lady on the left, I’m pretty proud of how her hair turned out. I think in future I need to do the linework prior to laying down the […]

Just a doodle of a pin up sailor girl. Trying to remember how I color with coloured pencils and it always turns out looking odd to me. Coloured pencils, 0.5mm black ballpoint, Pentel Brush pen.
Dawn
Dawn Chambers of Mad Men. A quick drawing. Done with coloured pencils, Pentel Brush Pen and 0.5 mm Black Ballpoint.

I really need to update this place more. Anywho, here’s George. I had to re-draw him a number of times before I was finally happy with the flowers. Pentel Brush Pen, 0.5 mm Gel Pen, and 0.3mm Staedtlr Pigment Liner.
Bride of Frankenstein
I love it when late night doodles turn out well. I’m not going to repeat the title, because I think it’s fairly obvious who this is. It’s also transparent!! I also have prints (plus t-shirts, mugs, and phone cases) available in my shop here. I kept the shading minimal, because I felt it just looked […]
Rough Stuff
It’s been a while since I’ve posted anything here. Um, this is just some rough prep work for something I plan on colouring. I’m not very good with watercolours so I tend t practice what I’m planning so I don’t screw it up horribly on the final piece. Watercolours on 50lb watercolour paper.
